Ezekiel 18 verse 21
18 v 21 if the wicked turn from all the sins he has committed, and keep all my statutes, and do justice and righteousness, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
18 v 22 All his transgressions that he has committed shall be remembered; he shall live, because of the justice that he has done.
18 v 23 What I want, is it that the wicked should die? says the Lord GOD. Is not he changes his ways and live?
18 v 24 When the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and all the abominations that the wicked man shall he live? All his righteousness shall be remembered, because he has trespassed, and sin; because of this, he will die.
18 v 25 you say, The way of the Lord is not right. Hear now, O house of Israel Is it my way that is not right? Is it not your ways are not straight?
18 v 26 If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and dies for it, he died because of the iniquity that he has committed.
18 v 27 if the wicked turn from his wickedness and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his soul alive.
18 v 28 If he opens his eyes and turns away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
18: 29 The house of Israel says, The way of the Lord is not right. Is it my way that is not right, O house of Israel? Is it not your ways are not straight?
18 v 30 Therefore I will judge each of you according to his ways, O house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
18 v 31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; are you a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, O house of Israel?
18: 32 For I do not desire the death of him who dies, says the Lord GOD. Convertissez- you, and live.
Luke Chapter 16 King James Version (KJV)
15 Jesus said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination before God. 16 The law and the prophets were until John; since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it. 17 It is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than it is one tittle of the law to fail.
18 Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and whoever marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery. 19 There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen, and every day fared sumptuously life.
20 A beggar named Lazarus was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table; moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 The poor man died and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, he looked up; and while he was in torment, he saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 He exclaimed, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 Abraham said, Son, remember that you received your good things in thy life, and Lazarus evil things; now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 Moreover, there is between us and you a great chasm, so that they which would pass from hence to you, or from there to us, can do so. 27 Then he said, I beg you, father, send him to the house of my father; for I have five brothers.
